Akiko has almost 20 years of critical/acute care nursing experience in Japan and Australia. She was originally trained in Japan, but she wanted to challenge herself in a different environment, so she came to Australia to work as an RN.
She has a strong interest in cardiology nursing and has been working in a CCU and an acute medical ward in Sydney. She’s seen sudden changes in patients’ (and sometimes visitors!) conditions requiring immediate medical attention. Recognising signs and symptoms of deterioration promptly and acting confidently are crucial keys to saving lives.
Over 5 years providing education to nurses, she believes one’s learning environment plays a huge part for learners to retain information. We run a course with the most relevant information for you and create a fun learning experience.

Emiri Matsukubo brings over 8 years of diverse clinical nursing experience from Japan and Australia. Her expertise spans surgical wards, operating theaters, and primary care settings, reflecting her adaptability and dedication to high-quality patient care.
Emiri’s career began in surgical wards, where she cared for patients with varying levels of acuity, before transitioning to operating theaters, where she excelled in assisting a variety of surgical specialties. In recent years, she has provided primary care to patients of all ages, combining her clinical skills with a commitment to patient education and preventative healthcare.
Fluent in both Japanese and English, Emiri also offers medical interpretation services, ensuring inclusivity and clarity in patient communication. A passionate educator, she holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and believes in fostering engaging, learner-focused environments to help healthcare professionals build confidence and expertise.
Emiri strives to bring practical, evidence-based insights to her teaching, supporting the next generation of nurses in delivering safe and effective care.

Coralie Adriano brings over 15 years of experience across diverse healthcare settings, including acute care, rehabilitation, aged care, and palliative care. Her journey from Assistant in Nursing to Registered Nurse reflects her dedication to continuous learning and professional growth.
Coralie has worked in some of Australia’s leading hospitals and facilities, excelling in post-operative care, cardiothoracic nursing, and rehabilitation. She is adept at managing complex procedures, including medication administration through various routes and caring for patients with advanced medical devices like chest drains and PICC lines.
With a dual qualification in Nursing and Business Administration, Coralie is also a skilled coordinator, having managed NDIS programs, conducted staff training, and updated policies to improve healthcare delivery. Her versatility extends to disability support and community health, where she has made meaningful contributions by supporting individuals with diverse needs.
Passionate about teaching, Coralie holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and brings a learner-focused approach to her sessions. She aims to empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional patient care.

Yoshihisa Nakagawa (Frank) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education management and training. With over a decade of expertise in the ELICOS sector, he has held leadership roles as a Principal Executive Officer, Managing Director, and Director of Studies. Yoshihisa is passionate about fostering quality education and supporting culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
Yoshihisa’s career highlights include managing compliance with regulatory requirements, curriculum development, and professional development initiatives. His achievements in recruiting and coordinating healthcare professionals, including Assistant in Nursing (AIN) placements in aged care facilities and hospitals, demonstrate his ability to bridge education with industry needs.
With a Master’s degree in TESOL and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Yoshihisa combines academic expertise with a deep understanding of learner psychology. Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, he is dedicated to empowering educators and students through innovative training programs and robust administrative systems.
